Biography

The band were formed on the 4th of January 1996,
10 years after Phil Lynotts death.

The band were formed in the remains of a trio band called
Cosmic Experience,Including Lars,Janne and Roy.

Tony saw one of our shows,and after the gig,plans to start a Thin Lizzy band soon were discussed. We recorded a demo within 2 months,featuring
"Cowboy song,Johnny and Got to give it up"
We did a couple of show´s,still trying to find the genuine Lizzy feeling.

We learned all of the classic tunes,as well as many songs witch Lizzy themselves seldom,or rarely.played live.  Now 5 years after the conception of the band,we´re tighter and more focused than ever, with over 20 song in the set list.

We play all of the song of the "Live And Dangerous" album,as well as songs like "Angel Of Death" and "Cold Sweat" from the 80 th period

Lizzy fans that come to our shows,says we´re "close to the real thing", which to us is a major compliment.

What it really comes down to,is love and dedication for the greatest band in Rock n´Roll THIN LIZZY

Even though we play the songs totally faithfully to the original versions on the albums, we sometimes like to add a little flavour to the original resepie,such as: twin-guitar solos in "whiskey in the jar"and "got to give it up".

We're still trying to improve ourselves,musicly,and looking for new details all the time to enhance the music anyway we can,as well as checking out new tunes.

UPDATE 2007:

In April 2007 the band made a lead guitar change. Thin Lizzy made that often so...
Lars out, Stefan in.
Stefan Wetterlind is a long time Lizzy fan and and this band suites him like a glove.
Powerfull, melodic solos with a great background vocals.

The Boys Are Back are tighter and more Thin lizzy than ever.
